Yup, that's me. A real dare devil. I hope to make this a regular installment on my blog: the ways that a conservative house wife like me lives life on the edge.
Today, living life on the edge involved using margarine that had 2% or less of a milk ingredient. This may or may not involve cleaning spit up off me, my baby, my couch, my kitchen floor, my 2-yr-old's head, and anything else that may be in gravity's way tomorrow.
For those of you who don't know, Virginia has been SUPER sensitive whenever I have anything with dairy in it. I couldn't find any vegan margarine at the store tonight (BlueBonnet Light is the only one I've seen at regular stores, and Brookshire Brother's didn't have that and I didn't have time to drive to WalMart). Then I was thinking, hey, I haven't had ANY dairy in more than a month. It might not be a bad idea to test whether her sensitivity has calmed down a little.
So there you go. I'm a wild one.

Oh, you poor thing! I just started a milk-free diet on Monday to see if she spits up any less, but I'm not going entirely dairy free just yet. We'll see. Good luck;)
I can relate. Every couple months or so I would think "Hey maybe Rachel has grown out of it" and like you, all we got was spit up everywhere and a baby who wouldn't sleep at night.
Well she survived the (less than 2%) whey...I don't plan on going full-on dairy anytime soon. Besides staving off spit up, it really keeps me on track with healthy eating to avoid milk. Few/no processed foods are milk free, I'm not loading anything with cheese, baking is difficult...
I hope it didn't backfire, you daredevil. And use that safety guard.
You need to remind your mother to read your blog. Or maybe you are afraid she will get after you for being so wild and crazy and putting yourself in harm's (and spit-up's) way.
