Best and Worst Books

So Eric is studying tonight, giving me way too much free time. Instead of doing useful things with my time (read: instead of doing the huge pile of laundry festering in my bedroom), I am currently perusing goodreads. I stumbled across this and couldn't help but laugh.

Take a look. The best books ever. The worst books of all time. Notice some similarities?

I'm with camp....never-read-the-books-so-I-don't-have-to-worry-about-disliking-them-and-offending-half-my-acquaintance-by-saying-so. Because I would have to say so if I read them and disliked them. I would feel it my obligation to the literary community.

Ok, I think I'll go sort that laundry now.

haha, that's funny. I'm glad harry potter and hunger games are in the "best" category!

Are we friends on goodreads? Why not?

Wow, you just blew my mind.

I have never been able to understand how those books inspire such passion in people. They're okay, not great, but not terrible. They're neither best nor worst.
