- I never thought I'd be so glad to get my child to take a pacifier, but when I got him to suck on it for real two days ago, I celebrated. Maybe even did a victory dance.
- My life has never revolved so wholly around the bodily functions of another person.
- Why does Noah only want to be rocked in his car seat? Isn't his swing the same? Or Mom's arms? Mom and Dad's backs are getting sore from hefting him around in that seat...
- I also meant to be the type of mom that got dressed every day. Now I'm wearing the same outfit I wore to bed last night. The same pants I have been wearing for three days.
- There's something absolutely spiritual about watching a peaceful baby sleep.
- Speaking of spiritual, when I stop and think about experiences I've had and emotions I've felt since bringing this little one into the world, I understand Heavenly Father a lot more.
- If only that understanding helped me emulate Him a little more.
The end.

I hear ya! And why is it that a fussy baby can always tell if you sit down? No, holding me is not enough. You must stand!
