Aloha from Spring Creek, Nevada. In case you didn't know, Eric and I are living in Spring Creek for a couple months with my mom and dad so Eric can work for my dad and help him out with his new business here.To some of you, this is a total surprise; I know some of our friends in Provo might still be out of the loop. Long story short, Eric and I both worked on campus, which meant that two weeks after graduating we became unemployed because of university employment policy.
Eric left a little less than a week after graduation to work on a construction job with my brother-in-law, Brandon, in Sacramento. I was finishing out my two weeks when my mom called and suggested we come out here and help Dad out. I talked to Eric and we decided to go ahead and do it, so that weekend in a whirlwind of events, family and ward members had helped me pack everything up and put it in storage, and I was on my way.
Eric got back in time for my birthday last week, and now we're trying to settle into a routine here in Spring Creek. Not the most exciting story of my life, but now you know where we are and what we're doing!
