Thanksgiving

The nightmare before Thanksgiving...

Ok, just kidding. That's Jed, Katy's brother-in-law, injecting the turkey with creole butter. Eric was excited to fry the turkey; it took him back to his Southern roots.

Mmmm! It was a yummy turkey.

Candice, Jed and Spencer.

Katy, Eli and Anna, and Richard

Katy and Anna chillin on the couch

Eli enjoying the leaves!

Aunt Sarah is so fun!

We finished the day with dessert--including a cake for Eric's birthday.
Happy birthday, honey! I love you :)

Happy birthday to Eric! Late. Man, I'm terrible this year; I didn't even know it was his birthday... Sorry! I might've even sent you a dime. Maybe a quarter if I was feeling generous.

Comments: Katy's hair is LONG. Looks pretty, don't you think? I'll have to grow my longer so I can be better.
ALso, it is so weird to see Candice & Jed with a baby. But they look cute!
And just in case you didn't already know it, you looked cute, too.
Did you guys talk trash about me? I hope so.

o.k. the moustache is impressive. However, I think it's thrown off the equilibrium of the universe. Please Eric, restore the balance.

The balance will be restored soon enough. I'm working up a monster. You guys are lucky to have seen it. I didn't know that cindy was going to post the stache or I might have caught it.

Thanks for the compliment,
eric

It's ok; I suppose it's probably my fault few people on our side of the family knew it was Eric's birthday yesterday. You can still send us money, though, and he might get over the offense.

Katy and I talked trash about you and Lisa the whole time. I'm glad you noticed Katy's long hair, because she grew it out so she could show how much better she is than you. Glad to know it worked ;)

Seriously, though, it's so weird doing Thanksgiving without the craziness of the Washburn family Thanksgiving get-together. The big family, plus any strays Mom had decided to invite...We had a good time, though. Katy and I had a lot of fun baking all morning together.

Nice Stache Eric! I'm glad someone is ready for the competition.

I'm crying (just a little) at the thought you guys getting to cook all morning with another person, especially a sister. I had to cook alone. Poor me. Feel sorry for me. Then send me presents to make me feel better.

Amy, just think, you get to see me in Louisiana over Christmas break when none of our other siblings will be there. We'll both have the best holiday ever :)

Yeah, good point! Lucky me! OH, and lucky you!
