a "step" up

So, I got a free haircut at school the other day because they had the Paul Mitchell school out promoting voter registration and such. Granted it was free and it looks slightly free. The best part about it though is that I let them have a little creative freedom.

I wish that I could have gotten my hair cut/styled/shaved like my main man Kanye, but alas I had to settle for a few steps in the back. Let me show you what I'm talking about.

Needless to say, when it grows out, I will get a good paid haircut and that should be the end of my steps.

In other news, I have decided to accept TJ's Christmas challenge and grow out a mustache, much to the dismay and horror of my wonderful wife, Cindy. So bring it brothahs and we'll see come Christmas who has the best looking facial hair in the fam.

Something about the hair makes me think New Kids on the Block. A mustache would be helpful only to keep you from having that "boy band" look going. Although chicks dig that boy band look. And they don't really dig mustaches. SO, I don't know. Depends on what your goal is.

my goal is sweet mustache madness...possibly going back to the Alamo days when staches = manliness and prowess:$)

Aww... sorry Cindy. Eric has got some weird hair "situations" (as Rosalinda would say)

Nice. I don't think you have to start growing the facial hair until the beginning of Dec. We should all start on the same day. The key to the challenge is coordination.

ok, let's start it December 1st then. Spread the word!

Does it really have to be a 'stache? I mean, couldn't you grow a goatee? Oh wait, yeah, that's right. Honor Code. Have fun, and Cindy all I can say is, get him good and drugged/drunk then cut it off first chance you get. :)

Because those things wouldn't violate the honor code or anything... :o)

As your Mother, I want all of you boys to know that I am planning a formal family picture (at Barrie Shaw Studios) of the twelve of us and you WILL be clean shaven for it!

I loved your Mom's comment, Eric! And I feel quite certain you all WILL do what she says! I can hardly wait to see all of you in Louisiana at the end of the year! (But I think I'll miss out on the facial hair--so take photos!)
