Good article about stock market situation

The subject sums this up; I just read this article and liked the realistic look at the so-called "2008 Great Depression." Don't start putting your money in your mattress just yet...

Theoretically, if the whole nation just followed the prophets' counsel from Joseph Smith to Thomas S. Monson and we wouldn't have this calamity at all.

counsel is/was as follows:
Buy a very modest home and get out of debt as soon as possible. Live within your means. Never go into debt if you can avoid it.

Good plan, hun. Let's be smart and listen to those smart men.

Yay for "All is safely gathered in."

You two really don't need us to read your blog after all, do you?

Great article. Amen to the comments.

Interesting article. It's nice to see someone publish an article that isn't all doom and gloom. What he said about "The only true certainty is surprise." is very true. And in a strange way kind of comforting. Which makes me more unsure about this bailout plan. When jessica and I first got married we made it a goal to be completely debt free within a year. Seems like it was just in time.

I'm so glad all of you are determined to listen to the wise counsel that would protect us from what we see happening all around us. Staying out of debt and paying your tithing will help you to have all you really need to take care of your families.

"Follow the Prophet, Follow the Prophet, Follow the Prophet, He knows the way!!" (I like the quote: "If you follow the Prophet you'll end up where he's going!")
