Today I'm posting my first post on our new combined blog, I See Badgers. Eric is off playing tennis and I'm supposed to be writing PSAs for my COMMS 421 client, but in search of a break from studying statistics and studies about substance abuse in Utah County, I came here.
Since we've been married we've had a busy life, but I found time to get my hair chopped off the other day! They took off about 10" for Locks of Love, a charity foundation that makes wigs for little kids with health conditions that make them lose their hair. After that they took about another inch or so. My hair is shorter than it's been in about 13 years! I like it, though, and Eric's given his approval too.

Here's a picture with my new haircut. This was taken by my sister Katy up in Layton on the 4th of July. We went up there and spent time with her and the twins for most of the day. Good times for the 4th! Then we headed out to Grantsville for their fireworks show, which was a lot of fun. It was more fun, though, to see how excited Corbin was to do their own fireworks in their driveway after.
Married life is great. Now back to studying heroin addiction.

Okay, I really hope you're sincere about having fun w/ us on the 4th, 'cause I really did feel like we were boring. I LOVED having you up, though. Seriously, Eric. WSU! :oP
Also, I'm curious about the heroin addiction research. Is this class work, or personal study? Perhaps assigned by a person with a license to practice medicine?
Lol, no, I'm not addicted to heroin. Candy, maybe, but not heroin. Unless there's some government conspiracy...
No, for reals though, it's for my client for my communications class. We take a non-profit organization in the area and put together promotional materials and such for them. Right now I'm working on public service announcements, Monday I turned in a media pitch letter, news release and fact sheet, and next week I turn in a tri-fold brochure I'll create on InDesign. My client is an addiction treatment center in Orem; hence, my studying up on substance abuse.
Nice cover story. I'll believe it when I see it!
