16th Entry

List of that which I am thankful for:

*Cherry Pie- because it is wonderful and delicious

*Boots- because they are awesome

*My Family- they are family, ‘nough said

*Good Friends- They really are hard to come by and they are worth keeping (agree with Gabe’s comment)

*Russian Literature- because it is difficult and interesting to read and even moreso to think about

*Good Questions- because I never feel like I can think of them until they are asked

*Pig-tails- because they can be funny, or really cute and fun

*Fun Classes- they help me enjoy my University experience and relieve stresses.

*Long-Boarding- it is fun to board around and just feel good going downhill

*Dancing without music- I really enjoy this and even if I don’t have rhythm

*Jumping- I like to

*Prayer- because it is a miracle

*My calling- I really like being a teacher because it gives me the opportunity to think and just ask questions that are pertinent to me.

*Cell-phones- I can contact important people almost anytime and know that they have a message

*Blogs- see what people think about and also feel a bit more involved in their day to day lives

*My laptop- allows me to do work

*Jeans and Shorts- I really like to wear them, especially cargo style because they are comfortable and fun and I can carry what I need without feeling stupid or looking dumb.

*Scriptures, Talks- because they are inspiring and they allow me to take some time for myself.

*Cindy- because she dances with me and lets me be myself. - Not to mention TONS of other things

*Socks- I love ‘em

*Countless examples of good men and women that are in my life.

*Dipped Kiddy Cones from Dairy Queen/ Gelato from Maestro’s (½ oreo and ½ lemon)

*Music- it is so varied and unique that it is wonderful to me as it excites my mind with creativity

*Swimming- It is one of life’s pleasures

*Sports- I like to play them and to watch them

*Movies that excite the senses (wholesome)

*Trees and My childhood- I think about how I grew up and how wonderful it was. I climbed trees and built forts, fished, ran, swam, and played whole heartedly. It was great and I didn’t even think about things that could exist outside of “my world”

*My mission- knowing now that so many differences exist in people, cultures, and lands and enjoying it tremendously. (I hope that makes sense)

These are some of the things that I am grateful for and I hope that you enjoyed reading them. There are some light-hearted and some more serious, but I feel like they are all important to me. They are listed in no particular order. I excuse my grammar and you should too.

On a side note: I want to become more articulate in my writing, but I can only express myself as clearly as I can think and as the extent of my mental dictionary allows. I think I may add the “word of a day” application to my desktop as a start.

I'm thankful for you, because we missed real hearty laughing when you were gone on your mission. You said you enjoyed teaching. So do I and I think maybe you should give this profession a "Look/See." Can't get rich, but it is rarely boring and the unexpected is to be expected. ;) MOM

thanks mom...maybe I will look into something that can help me supplement grad school and still get some good experience.

I agree that pigtails are cute, but I don't like what you have to wallow through to get to the tails. Better to watch the pigs from a distance.

I'm drawing up adoption papers for you.
